How do I search for a title?
- The most straightforward way of searching for an item is to use the search box located at the top left of each page
You aren't limited to titles in your store: you can choose from over 3 million books, 250,000 of them available for same day delivery. - Using this search box you can look for titles using any of the following: author name, title of the book or ISBN (the unique 10 or 13 figure code given to all books published). The quickest way to find a title is to search using the ISBN. You may also enter part of a title, part of a name, or both title and author if known.
- When you have entered the details you know, just click on the Go button or press Return on your keyboard and the search will begin. Once your book has been located you will be shown either a single title or a list of titles along with the author name and price. To find out more information on your chosen book simply click on the title or book jacket to view a more comprehensive description.
- If your search has not found the book you are looking for, check the details you have entered – often a less specific search will generate more titles. You can do this by entering new or amended information in the search box.
How do I browse through all available stock?
- Under the Browse Category header on the left hand side menu you will find various categories to browse through. Each of these has several sub-categories which should make your shopping easier!
- Whenever you search on a topic, for example 'cookery', books are brought back in lists in order of popularity.
What if I still can't find what I'm after?
- Why not give your local branch a call, staff there will be very happy to help with your enquiry; store details can be found here.
